The "Great American Meatout" is an annual veggie love-fest sponsored by the Farm Animal reform Movement, a Washingon, DC-area animal rights organization. So we were surprised to find Michael Jacobson, who runs the Center for Science in the Public Interest, listed among the event's public sponsors.
